A mob in Mumbai’s Bandra attacked actor Raveena Tandon after her driver was accused of rash driving. Videos circulating online show Raveena pleading with the crowd not to hit her as she tried to defend herself. Dressed in white, Raveena was surrounded by the alleged victims and locals who called the police. One woman in the video claimed, "My nose is bleeding. She (Raveena) assaulted me." Raveena repeatedly urged the onlookers not to record the incident and begged, "Don't push. Please don't hit me."
An alleged victim claimed that Raveena, seemingly intoxicated, exited her car to defend her driver and subsequently hit his mother, causing serious head injuries. However, reports also indicate that the vehicle did not hit anyone and Raveena has sought legal assistance to address the allegations.
Raveena Tandon was last seen as a lawyer in the film "Patna Shuklla," which explores an education scam affecting thousands of students in India. Produced by Arbaaz Khan and directed by Vivek Budakoti, the film is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Raveena will next appear in "Ghudchadi" and "Welcome Back."
